Se trata de un evento anual, que busca reunir a los miembros de nuestra comunidad académica alrededor de temáticas en las áreas de la Lingüística Aplicada que influencian la enseñanza, y aprendizaje de las lenguas, al igual que el desarrollo profesional de maestros en nuestra área. Conferencistas invitados de diversas partes del mundo, como Brasil, Francia, Reino Unido, Estados Unidos y Colombia, han participado y enriquecido el diálogo académico e intercultural propuesto desde nuestro Programa, lo cual confirma su relevancia como iniciativa de internacionalización universitaria.


This is an annual event. The aim of this event is to bring together different members of the academic community in order to discuss different topics regarding applied linguistics and its influence on language teaching and learning, as well as teachers’ professional development in our areas of knowledge. Scholars from different parts of the world such as Brazil, France, United Kingdom, United States and Colombia, have participated and have enriched the intercultural dialogue the MA program in Language teaching aims at.

Cet événement annuel vise à réunir les membres de notre communauté académique autour des thématiques de la Linguistique Appliquée qui influencent l'enseignement et l'apprentissage des langues, ainsi que le développement professionnel des enseignants dans notre domaine. L'on invite des conférenciers du monde entier, tels que ceux du Brésil, de France, du Royaume-Uni, des États-Unis et de Colombie, afin d'enrichir le dialogue académique et interculturel proposé par notre programme, ce qui confirme ainsi sa pertinence en tant qu'initiative d'internationalisation universitaire.


Em 2024, o Mestrado em Docência de Idiomas da Universidade Pedagógica e Tecnológica da Colômbia (UPTC) realizará o 24th Teachers’ Moot e a 14th M. A. Graduates Reunion, evento académico que acontecerá na cidade de Tunja (Boyacá- Colômbia), nos dias 20 e 21de setembro. Este é um evento anual que busca reunir membros da comunidade académica ao redor de temas relacionados com a Linguística Aplicada que influenciam o ensino e a aprendizagem de línguas, bem como o desenvolvimento profissional dos professores da área. Palestrantes convidados de diversas partes do mundo, como Brasil, França, Reino Unido, Estados Unidos e Colômbia, participaram e enriqueceram o diálogo acadêmico e intercultural proposto pelo Programa, o que confirma sua relevância como iniciativa de internacionalização universitária.

Dear presenters,

We are pleased you have decided to register as a presenter at this year's Teachers' Moot!  the theme is  "Inspiring new generations through education and research". Topics such as, language teaching and learning, interculturality, assessment, diversity  and more are welcome from all contexts!

Each presentation will be 20 minutes long with ten minutes after for questions and comments from the audience. We kindly ask that you fill out the form below to participate as a presenter. If you are presenting as a group, we ask that you write the names of each member fill out the registration in just one form. Finally, you will receive a certificate from the Master's in Language Teaching and Faculty of Educational Sciences of the Universidad Pedagógica y Tecnológica de Colombia after your presentation.

Ilba Yaneth Rodríguez Tamayo

M.A.  Ilba Yaneth Rodríguez Tamayo. Colombia. Professor at Universidad Pedagógica y Tecnológica de Colombia (UPTC) in Tunja, Boyacá. She holds an M.A. in Applied Linguistics for the Teaching of English from Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas. She belongs to the research group “AVE”. She currently teaches at the School of Languages, and the M.A. in Language Teaching Program at the UPTC.

Martha Pardo Segura

Ph.D. Martha Pardo Segura. Colombia. Diplômée en Langues Modernes, filières anglaise et française, UPN et Master en didactique du FLE , Université Colegio Mayor de Nuestra Señora del Rosario, à Bogotá ; Master en méthodologie de la recherche littéraire et Doctorat en littérature et civilisation françaises, Université de la  Sorbonne Nouvelle - Paris III. Postdoctorat en Histoire de la littérature d'enfance et de jeunesse des écrivains français, Université de la Sorbonne - Paris IV.

Professeure de la chaire externe de Littérature, Faculté des Sciences de l'Éducation, École des Langues, UPTC. Rattachée au groupe de recherche J.O.I.E., Lignée Littérature et Art : littératures spécifiques destinées à l'enfance et à l'adolescence. Publications d'ouvrages en paternité : Otoniel (2020) ( David H. Sepúlveda, Vive la Joie en français (2019) ( Oscar A. Daza), Lisons en langue française : recueil de contes français ( 2015) ( Diana P. Espinosa).

Vitalia Pachón Achury

M.A. Vitalia Pachón Achury. Colombia. Master en éducation, spécialité en didactique des langues étrangères, Université Libre de Colombie. Master 1 Arts, lettres et langues-men􀆟on Sciences du langage, Université Stendhal, Grenoble 3-France. Diplômée en Langues Étrangères, Université Pédagogique et Technologique de Colombie (Uptc). Professeur de français et maître de stages pédagogiques, Licence en langues étrangères parcours anglais et français- École de Langues-UPTC. Membre du groupe de recherche J.O.I.E.

Jahir Aguirre Morales

M.A. Jahir Aguirre Morales. Colombia.Professor at Universidad Pedagógica y Tecnológica de Colombia (UPTC) in Tunja, Boyacá. He holds an M.A. in English Didactics from Universidad de Caldas. He belongs to the research group “TONGUE”. He currently teaches at the School of Languages at UPTC. He was an ESL teacher in North Carolina and a Spanish language teacher in Virginia, USA.

Ph.D Rogéiro Lobo Sáber

Ph.D Rogéiro Lobo Sáber. Brasil. Professor de Literaturas de Língua Inglesa da Universidade Estadual do Paraná (Unespar) - Campus Apucarana. Chefe da Divisão de Convênios e Mobilidade do Escritório de Relações Internacionais (ERI) da Unespar. Pós-doutor em Estudos Literários (UFMG) e Pós-doutor em Filosofia (Faculdade Jesuíta de Filosofía e Teologia, FAJE). Doutor em Letras - Estudos Literários pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG). Mestre em Teoria e História Literária pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas (Unicamp). Licenciado em Letras - Português/Inglês. Áreas de interesse: Literaturas de Língua Inglesa, Literatura Gótica, Literatura Comparada.

M.A Miguél Arcángel García Rojas

M.A Miguél Arcángel García Rojas. Colombia. Full-Time, Titular, Professor at the UPTC faculty staff, attached to the School of Languages, English Collective. He holds a Master's Degree in Rhetoric and Composition granted by BC University of Shreveport (USA), and a Specialization in Teaching English to Young Learners by Thames Valley University (London) respectively. He was a scholarship Recipient to study the Specialization course in “Young Learners”, at Thames Valley University (London)

Ph.D Lucero Babativa Edgar Yead

Ph.D Lucero Babativa Edgar Yead. Colombia. Edgar Lucero is a full-time teacher educator in the Education Sciences Faculty at Universidad de La Salle, Bogota, Colombia. He is the Editor of HOW Journal of Asocopi (The Colombian Association of Teachers of English). He holds a Ph.D. in Education with an Emphasis on ELT, and an M.A. in Applied Linguistics for TEFL from Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas, Bogota. He also holds a specialization degree in Didactics of Languages, and a B.A. in Spanish, English, and French. His research interests are in Classroom interaction, Language Teaching Didactics, and Teaching Practicum.

Ph.D José Adriano Barbosa Corredor

Ph.D José Adriano Barbosa Corredor. México - Colombia. Doctor en Estudios Latinoamericanos en Territorio, Sociedad y Cultura por la Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí, México.  Magister en Docencia en Idiomas por la Universidad Pedagógica y Tecnológica de Colombia, Colombia. Docente en la Secretaría de Educación de Boyacá, Colombia. Líneas de investigación o trabajo: educación, género, masculinidades, interculturalidad.
